In certain circumstances it may be necessary to impose a blanket practice ban prior to an AT-TEFF Qualifier or Final. The reasons for this may be many but will include the protection of out-of-season species or environment protection.
If a ban is to be put in place notification will be published in the event entry details and specific rules.
The ban will be difficult for the AT-TEFF to police so documented evidence from the hosting Club or organisation will be accepted by AT-TEFF and disciplinary action will be taken based on this evidence. There will be no right of appeal to any action taken by AT-TEFF. This action may be in addition to that taken by the hosting club or organisation.
Disciplinary actions taken by AT-TEFF include, but are not limited to, disqualification from the next event being held on the venue, disqualification from the complete event (future qualifiers and Final) and disqualification from all AT-TEFF and AT events for up to 12 months.
Actions that may cause such disciplinary processes include, but are not limited to, targeting out of season, spawning Grayling under the auspices of a Trout fishing day ticket, breaking local Rules and fishing a venue within the specified practice ban period.
This rule also covers identifiable family and friends of the Anglers entered to the AT-TEFF qualification process.
